What an excellent holiday. The cottage was lovely. The open fire was great. Basic food when you arrive. Walks were great even in the cold. The Farmers Arms pub just down the road was very friendly and did delicious food. Wood recommend this holiday to anyone. Will be going back.

Very comfortable cottage with lots of character. Well placed for the Southern Lakes. A fantastic view of the Old Man of Coniston with spectacular sunsets.

A fabulous location and very clean. Lake Coniston is a 5 minute drive away and is very romantic. I would recommend it over and over again and we will be definitley going back to this property!

As pensioners with a small dog, we can honestly say this holiday was one of the best we have ever had. So many interesting things to do in a beautiful location.

The area is really exceptional if you like any outside activity, people are so friendly and are ready to go out of there way to help. I recommend the local pub for its friendly and outgoing attitude and the food and drink are fantastic!
